SHORTLISTED "COASTAL EXPERIENCE" - OPTIKA PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION CITY OF KINGSTON
My image is exhibited with a number of other images at the Kingston Art Gallery, corner Nepean Highway and South Road Moorabbin in Melbourne till 9th November.
The theme for 2024 was “What inspires you”. My interpretation was : “Coastal living is my passion. It inspires me in terms of the beauty and power of nature - where the land meets the sea. The coastline commonly provides a vista view of different cloud formations and also an awe-inspiring backdrop for colourful sunrises and sunsets . The coast can also showcase the unadulterated power of the ocean. In a calmer sense, the coastline is often a meeting place for people – be it for a relaxing walk, some fishing or the variety of water-based pastimes. Coastal living is indeed my passion.
